Imaging Riometer

The Southern Hemisphere Imaging Riometer Experiment (SHIRE) is an IRIS imaging riometer system which has been operating near continuously at Davis Station, Antarctica (-68.6, 78.0) since 1997. Please use the to obtain data in standard IRIS format as well as the relevant quiet day curves archived in the WDC.

To see which SHIRE data are available through the WDC, please refer to SHIRE Data Availability.

To display a SHIRE summary plot, select a Year, Month and Day, and then use the Load SHIRE data button (which will appear when a valid date selection is made).
